Which version of Outlook does Neston work with?▾
Neston works with New Outlook, Classic Outlook and Outlook Web on Windows 10/11. A Microsoft connection is required for full features.
Are my emails read or stored by a third party?▾
No. Neston runs locally on your machine. Only the current email text is sent to the Claude (Anthropic), GPT or Mistral (GDPR option) API — never stored, never shared.
How does the AI learn my writing style?▾
During onboarding (5 min), Neston analyses your last 300 sent and 500 received emails to build your style profile. It then refines with every send.
Is generation really in 4 seconds?▾
Yes — thanks to speculative pre-generation. Neston prepares the reply in the background while you read. When you click Generate, it's often already ready.
Does it work without an internet connection?▾
AI generation requires an internet connection to query the Claude API. Inbox navigation works offline.
When will I get access to Neston?▾

Does Neston work on Outlook Web?▾
Yes. Neston is compatible with New Outlook, Classic Outlook (Windows 10/11 desktop) and Outlook Web (browser-based). The core feature — generating replies in 4 seconds in your writing style — is available on all three environments. Some advanced features (automatic Windows attachment filing) remain exclusive to Outlook Desktop.
How does Neston learn my writing style in detail?▾
During onboarding (5 minutes), Neston analyzes your last 800 sent emails to identify your writing style: average length, opening and closing formulas, level of familiarity depending on the recipient, recurring turns of phrase, business vocabulary. It also builds a profile of each contact from past exchanges. With every new send, the AI refines its understanding by observing your edits to proposed replies. The style fidelity score exceeds 90% after 3 to 5 days of use.
